FMBA 21 President Daniel Schwaner (C) hugs his Championship Cornhole Team members Dylan Maresca (L) and Nick Nicolette (R). Clifton FMBA 21 team competed against 28 other teams and won 2-1 against our brother firemen from Union FMBA Local 46.
FMBA 21 Members Dylan Maresca and Nick Nicolette crowned champions of the 2022 Mark A. Virag Memorial Cancer Fund Cornhole Tournament.

Please join us in honoring the livesof those who have given their time, support, and lives to protect their communities in thepast. This will be the 6th Anniversary Service to honor their memory and service.
The New Jersey FireMuseum and the Firefighter Memorial will be open at 10 am. We welcome you tovisit the site and we would appreciate those who will be attending the Memorial Service arrive by 12:00 pm to gettogether. Service will begin around 12:45 pm. We look forward to seeing you andhonoring the memory of those very important members of the fire service.

We are planning to take part and enter a FMBA team into the 2023 Tank Pull. We are looking for a 20 member team on June 11th to pull a tank. We have done it in the past with great success and in memory of Clifton Firefighter and Marine Veteran Dan Meeks. Dan Meeks passed away at 31 years of age due to a brain tumor. Let your shift VPs know as soon as possible if you can attend. Active and retirees welcome. PBA 36 will have a team as well. If anyone is interested in being the team captain, contact President Daniel Schwaner.

On August 8, 2020, Clifton Fire LT John P. Van Dorn Jr. succumbed to a 9-11 related illness from his time spent at Ground Zero just days after the attacks on the World Trade Center.

2023 Convention - We are currently scheduling the 2023 Convention to be a 2-day Convention on Friday, 9/15 and Saturday, 9/16. We are at the mercy of state and federal regulations, but as of now, a 2-day Convention is planned. Friday will be the Memorial Service and all business/reports. Saturday will be for walk-through voting only - no meeting will be held on Saturday. Delegate cards and information will be mailed out next June/July. Verona FRA will be providing the Honor guard for this year’s Memorial Service.
a. Friday, 9/15 – Registration from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Meeting & Memorial service will start at 11:00 am.
b. Saturday, 9/16 – Registration and voting from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. Suggested voting times by County will be distributed.
