In a thrilling showdown between area fire departments, FF Rivera, FF Vasquez, FF Perez, and FF Murphy showcased their skills and determination, clinching the championship title. A proud moment for the team and the entire FMBA community!
October is Fire Prevention Month. Our very own Clifton FMBA 21 member and Clifton Fire Department Historian Charles Stauhs set up a showcase at the Allwood Branch Library. Please stop in to check out a collection of Clifton Fire Department memorabilia and historic photographs. Also available for lending is several copies of our 100th Anniversary Book donated by author and former Department Chief Kevin McCarthy. Fire Prevention Month is an important time to raise awareness about fire safety. This display is excellent way to honor the history of the department and educate people about fire safety.
Congrats to two of our members for making Firehouse Magazine. FF Oleg Skachko and LT Mark Drew received a community service award for the efforts of arranging donations of protective equipment for the people of Ukraine. See the article below.
